David Waddell retired from teaching Sport and Recreation Administration at the University of Mississippi in May 2024. This position followed a twenty-year career in ministry leadership with local churches. He has witnessed God’s grace in his life and the lives of others. He enjoys writing about grace, forgiveness, and second chances.
He grew up in the Missouri cities of Kansas City and Springfield. He attended Missouri State University before getting his Master’s Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He enjoys family, friends, and all sorts of sports, movies, and theater productions. His main point of pride is in his three sons and their families including ten grandchildren.
