1692 Chapel Visitation

I visited this 1692 chapel with my mother today. The beauty of different worship centers reminds me how, in “Worship Wars,” I reminded myself the true beauty of worship is the Who and not the where.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today marks the sixty-fifth celebration of Father’s Day for my dad. Coincidentally, my older brother just turned sixty-five last month. Unfortunately, Dad left this world after his forty-sixth Father’s Day.


One of the joys I had in putting together “Holiday Biblical Characters: Finding My Stories in the Stories of Christmas and Easter” was adding Mother’s Day and Father’s day stories to the collection.
