My Three Sons: Not just a 60s Sitcom

One of the inspirations I experienced which led to the writing of Worship Wars was seeing
my three sons lead in worship from the traditional and contemporary format.
Yesterday, I had the joy of the “wormy” singer delivering an amazing message on the
story of the poor woman who gave more in an offering than the rich people did.

My Day Job

Like most authors, I have a regular day job. This year begins my sixteenth year of teaching at the University of Mississippi in recreation, park, and sport administration. Before that, I served twenty-five years in recreation ministry in five different churches. This week, I wore my recreator hat as I attended our state association conference. I presented an adapted presentation I first heard from Frank Hart (Pogo) Smith in 1976.
